February 22 - GlassFish

John Clingan will be giving a deep dive on GlassFish v3, the Java EE 6 reference implementation. GlassFish v3 enables rapid iterative development of Java Web applications, is built on an OSGi runtime, offers maven support, runs dynamic languages such as JRuby, extensible and RESTful administration, includes fine-grained monitoring, and much more.

John Clingan is the Principal Product Manager for GlassFish at Oracle.

Our meeting, will as usual, be held in the EHarmony lunchroom at 888 E Walnut (SW corner of Lake, aka Indy Mac building) at 7 PM. Please park in the Garage behind the building and get validation at the meeting. The lunchroom is on the west side building facing Walnut.

The meeting will be from 7-8:30ish PM, and Eharmony will be providing Free Pizza and Soda, and our sponsors will be be providing Free Copies of IntelliJ and Java Rebel, plus other schwag.

OSgi on 1/25

Our next is Simon Barere, will be speaking on OSGi, a Java Based web framework.
Simon Barere is a software architect with extensive experience in enterprise application integration, with a strong focus on component development, Web services, and service oriented architecture
